Tamale, Ghana

Participated as one of four Norwegian students at the GNSS, a project that aims to educate medical physicist and radiograph students in Ghana. Topic for this years summer school was X-ray, MRI and ultrasound. Demonstrations at the local hospital in Tamale.

Trondheim

In Biophysical Micromethods. Updating the curriculum, finding new and relevant articles for the course. Making exercises for the students to hand in. A project being done by the professor in the course and myself to improve the learning outcome for future students.

Kongsberg

Summer job, 2016 and 2017. Sorting samples from different medical offices, and delivery to the pathologist, microbiologist or the blood bank. Good insight into how the different departments work, and how they interact with one another.

Lausanne Area, Switzerland

Individual project on uranium isotope composition. Analysis with gammaspectroscopy using HPGe detectors. Also worked with other detectors such as TLDs and Si(Li) - evaluated as one of the best LRS semester projects in the school year 2016-2017. Great opportunity to work in a top notch laboratory, take responsibility and grow as a researcher! I used the LabSOCS Geometry Composer to make geometries of the samples. I also wrote a manual for using this program, which described how to custom design geometries for efficiency calibrations.

Sem Sælands Vei 10, Ntnu, Trondheim

Head of the event commitee in the student organization Nabla, and a part of the board of Nabla 2015/16. The event commitee has the responsibility for organizing the social events throughout the year, the biggest one being the matriculation ball for about 300 people. The Nabla board works to strengthen the relations between the students, the school and future employers. Good experiences and training in leadership responsibilities, delegation and working in teams.
