As a Business Analyst II, I act as a trusted advisor to the European Management Team by supplying analysis, insight, commentary and recommendations on commercial performance, business planning and financial control. -Production of Monthly Group Performance reviews, discussing key variances, business drivers, metrics and trends for the European executive board including the European VP-Commercial Quarterly Business review data provision and design, analysis of regional and country level revenue developments-Improve profitability by reviewing existing financial data, working with the business to develop and model new initatives-Support the financial planning director in the budget planning process and the monitoring and controlling of costs and expenses-Assist SAP implementation Team leads in setting up MM/SD/FICO master data and testing scripts

As a Business Analyst at GOJO Europe, I produce the weekly and monthly reporting suite tracking revenues vs budget, which covers sales and dispenser reporting for the European regions and GOJO Europe as a whole. I shape the global sales action planning by managing £75m budget, providing trends and forecasts, and presenting sales performance. I act as an internal analytical consultant to support GOJO’s sales and marketing teams by analyzing and interpreting a wide range of business data and converting them into timely and easy to understand information. As part of this, I analyse key distributor activity, end-user usage and product categories, assess product profitability and market trends, establish cost structures, review pricing and advise on promotional strategies. Recently I have been increasingly involved in the development of a Combined European Reporting pack, assisting with the integration process of the newly acquired French business. Additionally, I have undertaken several larger projects to streamline and improve the accuracy, coverage and the visual presentation of the current reporting suite using Excel, Access and Tableau.Apart from this, I ensure data integrity by performing monthly sales reconciliations and by performing data clean-ups. I facilitate month-end processes, invoicing and post journal entries for nominal and foreign exchange rate adjustments.

During my graduation traineeship at the Hilton Antwerp I assisted the Director of Business Development in meeting quarterly targets by mainly focusing on business performance, revenue management, forecasting, strategic partnerships and niche markets.I produced weekly and monthly summary reports by aggregating financial information from multiple data sources, as well as, analysed KPIs that enabled the senior management to take corrective actions if necessary. During this process, I consolidated large amounts of data to prepare a detailed analysis of revenue and sales trends using various advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables and v-lookups. Additionally, I assisted the Finance team in streamlining the forecasting process by building diverse databases in order to analyse historical trends and performance.Apart from this, I supplied the necessary industry and market research to target new businesses and chased new business leads. Using excellent communication skills, I liaised with various 3rd parties to develop new all-inclusive packages that drive occupancy rates during the low season.
