Original Ventures is the commercial representation for a group of “off-the-chart“ scientists, mathematicians, cryptographers and technologists. It was started in 2015, born out of the Founders Forum group. Initially meeting for breakfast in central London, the breakfast club was way for the members to exchange ideas and work together to solve challenges. Through our relationships with various organisations we have early (and in some cases unique access ) to commercial data which we can bring to this project. We work with very few organisations and address only the most challenging ideas.Project I worked on:-Investorlist: a systematic way to evaluate the startup's progress based on the background of the founders-ECB quantitative easing analysis for a NY based hedge fund

The startup was born out of an idea of Brent Hoberman: at the moment in a business event you find people based on randomness (same queue for the buffet, you sit aside etc.). Intros find people potentially interesting in a (busy) business event through AI. I was responsible to define and to develope the people matching algorithm using different machine learning methods (clustering, word2vec, NLP), different APIs (IBM Watson, OpenCalais) and AWS technologies (RDS, lambda).

The ASI is data science fellowship to convert PhD's into data scientist professionals.ASI takes candidates and provides them with the knowledge, opportunity and mentorship among which:- Expert-led training and practical workshops in Hadoop, Spark and MapReduce as well as Statistics and Business-specific concepts- Expert mentoring in machine learning algorithms and data mining procedures.

I worked on the implementation on the coordinate transformation algorithm from the wgs84 (standard ellipsoid system to a local system)
