I wear a couple of (safety) hats at the moment. Day to day working for South Yorkshire Housing Association as a H&S Manager and fire risk assessor and also as an occasional health and safety consultant for SMEs, businesses and education establishments in and around the East Midlands, South Yorkshire and London. I provide remote advice to companies by providing general and fire safety advice, online safety training, COSHH assessments, RAMS, CHAS & ConstructionLine applications etc.Recent work included being a Fire Risk Assessor for South Yorkshire Housing Association, H&S advisor for Rykneld Homes Ltd, Westfield Health in Sheffield and Northern College near Barnsley. Previously, I worked for English Heritage for 18 years and ended up as a regional health and safety advisor for the East, London & Stonehenge. Key areas of expertise include risk assessments, COSHH assessments, fire risk assessments, health & safety auditing, workplace inspections, report writing, safety advice, operational & events safety and playground safety.
