I am an award-winning editor dedicated to shaping content that leads to maximum impact. My experience shows I'm a power player when it comes to setting the standards of modern language, and connecting editorial teams and business organizations.I currently work as a digital copy editor and web producer at Texas Monthly.I managed the copy desk of BuzzFeed Inc., which leveraged data and innovation to reach hundreds of millions of people globally. In a fast-paced environment, I edited everything from social copy to long-form features and AI-integrated content on all platforms of Tasty, Complex Networks, First We Feast, and HuffPost. I previously worked on the night news desk at Newsday in Melville, New York. Under tight deadlines, I designed layouts and edited articles for the publication's daily nation/world, entertainment, and business sections. I also led the design and publication of the Newsday's Funbook, a family activity guide that brought in tens of thousands of dollars in ad revenue.I am an alumna of the Dow Jones News Fund editing program and mentor incoming interns in the DFW area.
