I'm a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and a member of the firm's digital health industry group and its healthcare practice. With over a decade devoted to healthcare law, I exclusively represent digital health and healthcare IT clients, ranging from emerging companies to industry giants, investors, and healthcare systems. My role involves guiding clients through the complex web of federal and state laws governing digital health companies, addressing issues such as the corporate practice of medicine, Stark Law compliance, Anti-Kickback considerations, fee splitting, Medicare and Medicaid billing, contracting with commercial payors, value-based care arrangements, artificial intelligence in healthcare, remote patient monitoring, online prescribing, scope of practice, and licensing requirements.Before joining Wilson Sonsini, I was a partner at McGuireWoods, where I co-led its digital health, technology, and innovation practice. Prior to that, I was a partner at Honigman LLP.I frequently speak and write about emerging healthcare and technology topics. I have been quoted by CNBC and Crain’s and have given guest lectures on healthcare law at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and Pritzker School of Law, the University of Michigan School of Public Health, Loyola University School of Law, and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to my professional endeavors, I serve on various boards, including the Women United Council for the United Way of Metro Chicago, the Executive Leadership Council for the Chicago Alzheimer’s Association, and Springboard Enterprises’ Women’s Health Innovation Council.
