Management and coordination of the European Shared Services Center which provides accounting & tax services to the Swiss and Spanish distribution companies of the Bata Group, both under US GAAP and local GAAP.

Coordination, management and direct support on all ordinary (tax compliance) and extraordinary tax issues relating to European companies of Bata Group (European HQ located in Italy included), reporting to the Europe Finance Director.Analysis and advice on issues relating to direct and indirect taxes and in particular: transfer pricing, withholding taxes, IP, holding & real estate co., permanent establishment, CFC rule, international taxation, tax planning, VAT, customs issues, international staff mobility, e-commerce.Direct managing of relationships with Italian and European tax authorities, especially during tax assessments.

National and international fiscal and tax consulting to other business functions and other Group’s companies, reporting directly to the Group CEO and the Group CFO.Analysis and advice on issues relating to direct and indirect taxes and in particular: transfer pricing, withholding taxes, international taxation for subsidiaries and new investment opportunities, permanent establishment, CFC rule, tax planning, VAT, customs issues, international staff mobility.Direct tax compliance assistance regarding direct and indirect taxes.Direct managing of relationships with Italian and foreign tax authorities, especially during tax assessments.Active participation in the process of budgeting and forecasting for the entire group.

National and international fiscal and tax consulting to other business functions and other Group’s companies, reporting directly to the CFO.Analysis and advice on issues relating to direct and indirect taxes and in particular: transfer pricing, withholding taxes, permanent establishment, CFC rule, international taxation for subsidiaries and new investment opportunities, tax planning, VAT, customs issues, international staff mobility.Direct tax compliance assistance regarding direct and indirect taxes.Direct assistance in the negotiation phase to the commercial and financing departments with regard to contractual provisions governing the tax aspects of the contracts.Managing relationships with Italian and foreign tax authorities, especially during tax assessments.
