In April of 2020 no one knew what the world could handle. I spent the pandemic figuring out what our small team was capable of doing, as well as what I was capable of handling. Working in BioTech introduced me to a new world of focusing on accounting, quickbooks/bill.com, AP/AR, inventory management, expense platforms, cash flow engineering, insurance claim processing, procurement and data visualization all utilizing constantly evolving and adapting platforms. Together we processed over 350,000 PCR Covid-19 tests in 3 different labs. As the Finance administrator turned Director I managed the billing of all of our direct pay clients as well as investigating, submitting and tracking almost $30MM in insurance claims.

Finance analyst for retail marketing department.I started at CPWM as a temp assisting the then VP of Marketing Frank Castiglione. He was let go, and my work was then focused on assisting the troubled marketing department. I worked with an array of amazingly committed Media people who were married to the insertion order processes of printed media. Organized production schedule invoicing, monthly accruals via a 90-tab v-lookup excel sheet of death, insertion orders, advertising billing & scheduling, and general advertising expenses. I came to hate this job, and the job hated me back. Laid off in 2009. Still have a house full of world market trinkets and nag champa. Thank you market shrinkage!!

Client support for FinTech start-up. Developed and managed leading-edge Compensation Calculation and Reporting tools for the Institutional and Retail Brokerage Industry. Innovative programming ideas with overworked and underappreciated staff. Supported dozens of local brokerage firms in the Bay Area and West Coast. Xtiva SF office (RIP) was never a good mix with the NYC style of financial relationships. Laid off 2006.
