I worked to implement design thinking practices within the Johns Hopkins Student Services Excellence Initiative to improve the student experience. I re-designed the Johns Hopkins portal by conducting user research and co-designing with students and staff. I also worked on the team that implemented the Salesforce CRM to assist students in questions related to financial aid, admissions and billing. Through my work at the Johns Hopkins Tech Innovation Center, I taught human centered design methodologies to the digital healthcare space in various programs and courses.

UX/UI Designer: Onymos (Los Altos) - Redesigned website for enterprise software company UX Designer: Wonolo (San Francisco) Worked with an on demand staffing platform to build gamification and education into their onboarding experiences for their community of workers: conducted testing and comparative research and built wireframes to build a new profile and home page. I worked with the Medical Center's internal Innovation team, the hiCOlab, as a User Experience Designer. The hiCOlab partners with patients, caregivers, and employees across The University of Vermont Health Network to radically transform healthcare from the inside out. My work focused on ethnographic research with patients and providers to improve patient care. Specifically, we are working on communication tools for our nurse care management program.

Alley is a supportive community for early stage businesses, start-ups, and entrepreneurs. - Created events programming that aligned with the needs of our members. The majority of the events we produced focused on: increasing diversity in tech as well raising money. - Built brand partnerships with brands including UsTwo, Amazon, AfroPunk and Huge and oversaw design and execution of events at partner's locations. - Helped to opened flagship Chelsea location and created event playbook to ensure consistency for all guests across event locations. -Provided creative direction to marketing team to align event assets with Alley brand.

Farmigo built a platform to connect local farmers with communities in NY, SF and Seattle. Some of my main projects at Farmigo were:- Managing the opening of a 3,000 sq foot office space in Brooklyn including renovations and transforming the office into a monthly event space- Created monthly event series that 100+ people attended on a monthly basis- Recruited and assisted with UX Designer with usability interviews- Built out an onboarding process for full and part time employees - Oversaw hiring for various positions
