After proving my success in 6 months as an HR coordinator I received a promotion as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. In April 2011, I took over the Airport Region where I was responsible for overseeing the staffing for all full-time and part-time positions at the 5 major/local airports in the NY/NJ area. The staffing needs I was responsible for included all three brands of Enterprise Holdings from customer service, sales, transportation, technicians, internships as well as managing/monitoring all internal promotions. After a little over 2 years in the role, I received another promotion in July 2013 where I became the Talent Acquisition Specialist for the 2 NYC Regions where I now oversee staffing for Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, the Bronx, and Western Long Island. Some of my responsiblities include (but not limted to):-Attracting quality candidates and managing the hiring and recruiting process from beginning to end. -Assist in the training and development of management in regards to internal and external interview practices and becoming a better business partner.-Overseeing our business needs and develop hiring practices to hire and retain the best talent. I always knew recruiting and HR was a focus of mine, and when the opportunity presented itself at Enterprise I was ready for the challenge. As an HR coordinator, I was responsilbe for interviewing and hiring all Part Time Service Agents (car washers) for the NY Group which consisted of 10 different regions from the NJ area all the way up to Vermont. I was able to bring these Part Time employee through the hiring process based on the need of our local offices.

After moving to the east coast from Southern California I wasn't sure what I was going to do with my career. I started with Enterprise and 2 weeks in I quickly realized that this was going to be a company I would be with long term. As a Management Trainee I was able to learn how to run my own business. I interacted with customers, other employees as well as Management. I quickly was able to diverge into the marketing efforts of our local office and got to see first hand what it took to run a successful branch.
