• Co-founder and active board member of R4R, a grassroots NGO that in 2018 was the Winner of the United Nations Student Prize for our dedicated efforts in protecting and promoting the human rights of refugees, in accordance with the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Sustainable Development Goals.• Provide services to migrants seeking asylum on the Greek islands of Lesvos/Samos/Kos in the thematic areas of food security, NFI distribution, health, and protection of unaccompanied minors. Work in direct partnership with the Greek Government, and the Greek army as an implementing partner for services in the camps. • Led the establishment of a rapid response operation in Romania to provide basic needs services to refugees arriving from Ukraine. This included shelter, food, NFIs assistance, and protection assistance.• Design organisational structures, and develop financial systems, and HR policies that adapt quickly for this rapidly growing NGO of 15 staff and 50 fulltime volunteers (community and international). • Programme manager for a portfolio of 24 projects across 15 countries valued at € 20m.• Liaison point for key institutional donors, including the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and IKEA Foundation.• Overall responsible for donor reporting, including narrative and financial reporting, compliance, and reporting against indicators set out in results frameworks. • Successfully coordinated the setup of the first phase of the 2021 programme.
