Andrea Morrison has been a professional in conflict prevention and resolution for commercial, workplace and community disputes since 1995. She was Senior Mediator for CBC National. Her services include conflict assessment, harassemnet and discrimination investigation, mediation, intercultural mediation, coaching, workplace restoration, training, investigation and conflict management system design. She brings expertise in complex group, multi-stakeholder,and multicultural conflicts. Andrea was founder and Director of Global Dialogue Inc. from 2006-2021, and permanent mediator for la Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse (Q.uébec) from 2011-2021. She is an Honored fellow of the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution, an Honored fellow of the International Academy of Mediators, a former governing board member of IMAQ (L'institut de médiation et d'arbitrage du Québec), a trainer for the Québec Bar in inter-cultural conflict and a lecturer at several universities including McGill Faculty of Law since 1997 and Université de Sherbrooke since 2001. She led mediation training (TPN3 ) in French and English at the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution for more than 20 years. She is also a lecturer for l'Insitut Catholique de Paris in their Intercultural Mediation Masters Program . She has designed and delivered training programs in Indonesia (Aceh), Cameroon, Niger, Ivory Coast, Mexico, Taiwan, France, Guyana as well as across Canada; she has also contributed to setting up Mediation centers in Saddle Lake First Nation (Canada), Indonesia, and Cameroon, She is fluent in French, English and Spanish, and has working experience in Russian, Chinese and German.
