About Andréanne Chu Breton-Carbonneau

For over six years, I have been designing equity-centered, resilient social systems to advance health equity and environmental justice. As the founder of ACBC Consulting, a boutique woman-of-color-owned firm, I lead efforts to co-design strategies that bridge social determinants of health, climate resilience, and environmental justice. My work integrates justice theory with research-backed frameworks, emphasizing sustainable, community-driven approaches.Key achievements include securing $5.5M in funding for equity-centered initiatives, building 8+ inclusive community engagement networks, and developing 12+ participatory research methodologies. I’ve also directed strategic plans, led community-led policy changes, and managed budgets of up to $600K.Pursuing my Ph.D. has deepened my focus on health equity, urban planning, and environmental justice. My research examines how climate-adaptive greening can unintentionally reinforce exclusion and health inequities, while seeking actionable strategies to enhance social resilience and health justice globally.I am passionate about creating just and inclusive systems that enable communities to thrive in an evolving world.
