Amphos21 is an environmental consultancy with services for the high, intermediate, low and very low level radioactive wastes. In the Nuclear services division we study the stability of the wastes (radio-geo-chemical characterization and simulations), alteration of the waste (studies of solubility, dissolution, sorption), and effect of the waste storage in host rock matrices and materials (interaction of the waste with the rock matrix and with other waste components and with the environment). Some of my daily tasks are: - Deploying numerical models of flow and transport in porous media and fractured rocks applied to nuclear waste storages, using structured and unstructured meshes. - Pre-process, visualize and post-process spatial datasets.- Customizing numerical codes written in FORTRAN and Python. - Advising clients when interpreting modelling results. - Writing of technical reports and scientific publications
