Everyday I walk into work with a basic idea of deliverables I need to meet, work I need to complete - and then there are all the pieces - ideas, tasks, requests, demands, public inquiries, internal puzzles, etc. that seem to "fall from the sky" - and that's what gets me really jazzed. The nature of communications work is creative, unpredictable and still very ordered. Our work is both inventive and evidence-based - and the myriad opportunities to conduct innovative work in a variety of frameworks makes for a career that will never be boring. I'm grateful for all of my opportunities and enjoying a fulfilling career doing work I consider useful and of service.
