Andrea Jaramillo is a Bachelor of Biological and Environmental Sciences and a technician in reforestation and agricultural control. She is passionate about research and the development of innovative solutions for biodiversity conservation. She has work experience in different projects related to environmental sustainability, agriculture, research, and flora and fauna project management.Currently, she works at Cavound, a company focused on sustainability and resource preservation through the development of technologies. She is also participating in the VLIR-UOS project of the KU Leuven University focused on the Smart Agriculture Methodology for the efficient and sustainable cultivation of pitahaya in the Ecuadorian Amazon: Pilot evaluation of the impact of technology on poverty and inequality reduction, from 2023-2025.She is a biologist with various skills in different fields of study such as Agriculture, environmental sustainability, fauna and flora research, project development, teamwork, team management, communication, and leadership. She handles different digital platforms such as QGIS (a powerful tool for the visualization, analysis, and management of spatial data), Pix4D (software used for photogrammetry and drone data management), Rstudio (data analysis and visualization), and database management in Excel.Her interests include science, research, agriculture, sustainability and environmental conservation, innovation, and project development.
