Extending Quality Implementation Advisor, Educare Learning Network

Served as the interim Elementary Counselor providing support to students, staff and families through guidance classes, consultation, parenting workshops, book clubs and other related needs in one-on-one, small and whole group formats.

Ensured students were learning in a safe and nurturing environment by supporting students, staff and families through staff recruitment, development and assessment; curriculum development/review; overseeing student study team; character education implementation and a multitude of other related responsibilities. Served on the Central Leadership Team, co-chaired the School Improvement Team, led the school wide AdvancED self assessment accreditation process, planned and facilitated various workshops, orientation sessions and other professional development opportunities.

Taught Second and Third Grades in a diverse and dynamic school environment; served on the Lower School Leadership Team as an advocate, resource and liaison for students, staff, parents and administration.

Co-developed and implemented federally-funded Spanish Foreign Language Program for 1st and 2nd Grade students throughout the district from 2001-2003; taught 3rd Grade Spanish/English Language Immersion in all subjects in 2003-2004.
