Currently I am a Bachelor in Global Business Student. Most of my experience has been with student groups. Through those experiences I learned about leadership, teamwork, understanding the importance of setting clear goals and working on motivation.The challenges that I worked in with the TEC21 Model also helped me enhance skills related to business. For example, learning how to create a situational analysis for the industry, how to land a proposal and turn it into a plan, how to use forecasting methods, etc. Even though each challenge / project helped me develop a certain set of competences, all of them helped me as a whole to become a better person and develop relevant & transferrable skills. In the way that throughout the program, I learned how to manage my time better, how to be more productive and efficient, and I also discovered new things that I am interested in, like logistics and management of operations.Finally, another experience that I felt that helped me grow a lot is all of my international studies. Before joining TEC de Monterrey I was studying abroad in England at the University of Kent, I was there for 2 years. While with TEC, I also went to Barcelona on a program to study some subjects abroad during the winter term. The experience of living by myself helped me to become a person who was more culturally aware as well as more confident. I also developed skills such as intercultural communication, I strengthened my English, I became more adaptable and learned how to solve problems in an effective way. Thanks to the challenges that I lived abroad, I became a more mature and self-aware person.
