Material Scientist with proven expertise in processing and characterization of materials, especially metals, permanent magnets and carbon coatings. Currently, I support knowledge and technology transfer activities of bioinspired materials research which might offer innovative and sustainable concepts to various industries. Before arriving there, I mainly gained technical expertise with metal Additive Manufacturing in the aerospace sector and mechanical and microstructural characterization methods in application to high-temperature intermetallic materials. I do not only stand up for thorough research, but also for understandable and concise presentation of their outcome. Positive impact can also be generated from negative lessons learnt, and so is my philosophy for effective knowledge management for our future generations.
