As a Soldier I was dedicated, disciplined and capable of taking orders from my peers and passing this on to young inexperienced soldiers. Punctuality was of the uppermost importance, all these qualities that I learnt in the Army, I have taken into regular life.· Training which lasted one year, covering all basic aspects of how to be a soldier in the infantry covering Teamwork, Education, Fitness, Battle Skills, Map Reading.· After training, I joined 1 Royal Anglian and I progressed even further with my Infantry skills.· Operational tour of Iraq, tactically driving heavily armoured Land Rovers, Patrolling the streets of Basra in temperatures of 60 degrees heat. This included many various search and arrest operations to find a numerous amount of ammunition, guns and other equipment, Commanding a section of 12 Men.· Passed Regimental Medical Assistant course and gained a qualification in First Aid Instructor.· Competed in the Army downhill slalom competition and won the Bronze Medal.· Team Leader, First Line and Management Skills Gained
