- Working within various funding streams (MAC, HCP, DVA, NDIS) in the provision of Occupational Therapy services in relation to community care.- Provision of in-home Occupational Therapy services to identify and assess occupational need in relation to home & community independence.- Analysis of functional ADL’s (self-care, productivity, leisure, rest occupations) and the provision of adaptive equipment promote functional independence.- Advising on and addressing environmental factors impacting occupational performance, participation and independence through provision minor and major environmental home modifications.- Liaising with a range key stakeholders in relation to client care (Allied health, nursing, care support staff, admin, family members, builders etc.)- Development of knowledge & familiarity with a wide range of assistive equipment, assessment principles and prescription protocols. - Development and provision of complex documentation, report writing and clinical justification in support of client care needs.
