As the Head of development at Caybon I was responsible for managing all aspects of the web applications for the group. This includes coding, managing off shore consultants, meetings with both internal and external end-users as well as maintaining a dialogue with our suppliers and vendors.Day to day responsibilities includes prioritizing tasks for the development team, QA, shipping code, coding as well as reviewing code. As a web developer at Mediaplanet I worked mainly with our custom CRM and CMS but also with a new Wordpress platform as well as some support systems. I also helped with 2nd line support when needed. Team size varied between 4-6 people.Some of the bigger projects:Designed and implemented an analytics system used to connect sales data with Google Analytics data. Did everything from choosing tech stack to designing and building the system. Both frontend and backend.Frontend was done in React and the backend was built on a LEMP stack using the PHP framework F3.Helped with the discontinuation of our CMS and integrated Wordpress.Reported to CTO.

As an IT Support / Developer at Mediaplanet my main focus was on doing IT support but since my interest was in web development I quickly grew into having more of a developer role as well.Day to day responsibilities mainly included IT support of our custom built CMS and CRM. I also did training for both internal staff but also external resources on how to use our systems. On the side I also did maintenance of our CRM and CMS with the help of more senior colleagues.One of the bigger projects was finalizing a platform for our external journalists to write and deliver articles. This was built on a LAMP stack in combination with js, HTML and css.Reported to CTO.
