Rains is a Danish rainwear company founded in 2012. From its new interpretation of the traditional rubber raincoat it quickly grew into a world renowned fashion brand. Fictive Kin is a digital agency based in Brooklyn, New York. It's known for its strong design capabilities and rock-solid software engineering.As the Director of Project Management I was responsible for managing the project portfolio and scheduling across 10-15 workstreams with a team of ~30 designers and developers.I hired and trained a team of project managers to execute projects based company wide model. I set up systems for the organisation of projects, and implemented methods for leading teams in the virtual-first setting.As part of the leadership I played a key role in developing the organisation as more than doubled the company in size and revenue while keeping the culture and quality of work intact.I also ran key projects such as:- Operation of e-commerce platform for a global brand in Brazil- Development and operation of infrastructure for a global e-commerce platform- Build of entire online presence including e-commerce for a high-profile Silicon Valley startup- Management of TeuxDeux and development of the TeuxDeux iOS app- Development of smart city initiative, Marketplace.City, with the Mayor's Office of New York City.
