We are responsible for developing and validating the transmission software, on all 9 speed automatic transmissions for Jaguar Land Rover products. The job role involves the following:-• Responsible for the integrity, documentation and release of all software and calibrations to the engineering team, production line and dealer network.• Responsible for the design, calibration and validation of transmission control and diagnostic strategies.• Responsible for shift scheduling and shift quality attributes.• Represent the Automatic Transmission Team in all forums, varying from small technical orientated meeting, to a high-profile senior meeting.• Ensure the team fully engages the supplier, using clear and frequent communication, managing expectations, ensuring we deliver our commitments, enabling successful project delivery.• Develop individual skillsets, exploring strengths and improving weaknesses, ensuring we develop a strong competent team that delivers optimised a class-leading software and calibrations.• Ensure the team meets its financial budgets, whilst monitoring heads, vehicles, shipping and facility costs.• Plan climatic, durability and performance testing, inc in-market environmental testing.• Report out on all projects, providing a clear status, plans, ensuring the team delivers on its commitments, delivering a successful project.• Planning the necessary benchmarking, ensuring that we are constantly futuring our product, remaining class-leading.• Operate and manage multiple tasks, with little supervision, escalating items when required.• Ensure the team are trained on new tools, and perhaps have re-fresh training on items/skills that are not frequently used.• Ensure the team meet their personal development plans, ensuring that they constantly improve, ad further their career.• Work alongside our attribute teams and vehicle engineering. This involved setting P.E.D targets, cascading results, conducting virtual and physical verification and supporting product development cycle activities.My daily tasks involved project managing the attribute delivery, designing experiments, analysing engine/vehicle data, creating resolution plans and presenting to high members of the organization.

I delivered the power supply system functionality for the 2010 Jaguar XJ. This involved developing, verifying and certifying the functionality of the overall power supply system. This involved delivering the latest technology, such as Intelligent Power Strategy Management, Smart Regenerative Charging and load management. These contributed in the campaign, to help lower CO2 pollution. I then went on to lead other tasks within the electrical department, which was extremely challenging.
