Github: https://github.com/achrys01My journey:Driven by curiosity for technology and mechanical systems, I enrolled for the Bachelor's of Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing at the University of Cyprus where I finished with a grade of 7.77/ 10 while simultaneously continuing to pursue my career in sports at long/ triple jump. During that time I have achieved winning first place at the National Track and Field Championship in triple jump. In my last year of the degree I have found great interest in Finite Elements Analysis. In order to develop my skills in FEM I pursued projects as a part of the Formula Student team, running simulations for the brake system, as well as for my thesis project where I modelled wound healing of peripheral nerves after transection.Following my lifelong passion for sports I applied for the Masters in Sports Technology at KTH Royal Institute of Technology with the intention of contributing as much as possible to integrating technology in sports. My time in KTH has highlighted the importance of data-driven solutions in sports and the potential of machine learning to elevate the overall experience of athletes and fans alike. A new interest in Android Fullstack development and User Interface Design has led me into multiple projects with different approaches, including Java with XML and Kotlin with Jetpack Compose. Ofcourse, I didn't leave simulation engineering behind either, taking courses in biomechanics with the use of FEM.My hobbies include various sports (of course), I find the challenge of learning a new sport fascinating and refreshing. Similarly, I like exploring new places and getting to know people, therefore I travel as often as I can.
