Head of Development Process and Support - Roche Molecular Diagnostics (RMD) in Roche Diagnostics International (RDI)Main tasks and duties• Leadership for Process and Support Departments at RDI (personnel, administration, training)• Management of competencies in and responsibility for Process Management as well as other IVD Development support functions, e.g. Instruments, Analytic Methods, Tools, External Performance Evaluation Studies as basis for Submissions (e.g. to European Authorities), Biosafety, and Biospecimen Procurement. This includes but is not limited to ensure adequate resource allocation to projects.• Window person for the local training process• Initiation of and technical support for budget planning and monitoring, consultancy in Budget Management for all RMD Development Teams at RDI• Coordination of Audit preparation (internal/external audits)

2004-2008: With responsibility for the molecular oncology budget and program planning and monitoring, managing of external collaborations (e.g., in the area of DNA methylation) and internal R&D programs.2002-2004: With responsibility for the oncology development budget, program planning and monitoring, contract management and negotiation of external collaborations, assessment of new technologies and external proposals or companies1998-2002: With responsibility for the primary assessment of emerging (bio) technologies, of new analytes for all Business Units (special areas: osteoporosis, dementia, oncology, cardio-vascular diseases) and of new platform technologies1984-1998: several supervising positions in In-Vitro-Diagnostics (IVD) product development (Immunoassays, Clinical Chemistry, Coagulation) with a broad variety of international publications and patents/patent applications (e.g. co-inventor in ATIII, Protein C, FIBRIN, CYFRA, Troponin T). Supervised the introduction of New Diagnostic products (Troponin T, CYFRA) and research kits (EPO).
