Andreas Dimitriou is the co-founder of A.C. ELECTROLYSIS LIMITED. He obtained the M.Eng degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), in 2013. He received his M.Sc and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from University of Cyprus, in 2015 and 2020, respectively. He is also working as a Researcher at the Power Systems Modeling Laboratory (PSM Lab). His current research interests include DC stray current control modelling in PV systems, grounding, lightning protection of large-scale solar applications and HVDC systems analysis. He obtained 2-years of consultancy service experience from Electrical Authority of Cyprus. His publication record benefits from 6 peer-reviewed journal papers,10 international refereed conference papers and two technical hand books. Most importantly, his research included in the new ISO 21857 standard “Petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries — Prevention of corrosion on pipeline systems influenced by stray currents”.
