Since 2006 I have been working part-time as a wedding and portrait photographer. This started through enjoying the hobby and taking opportunities to assist on weddings as a second photographer. This has led to requests to photograph weddings starting with the size of 500 guests in germany to even more personal weddings with 30 guests internationally. I do work international if required and have photographed occasions in Germany, Barbados, Kenya, Bolivia, Chile, UK or other countries. Managing and taking also care of Patients suffering of Pulmonary hypertension. Removing chest drains, Removing Pacing wires, inserting and removing indwelling urine catheters for male Patients, closing vascular access with various closure devices and or manual pressure, Managing Patients on renal doses of intravenous inotropes, administering intravenous, intramuscular and subcutaneous medicationSupporting and teaching Junior staff and Students,Mentoring Students from University,Link nurse for the Anglia Ice system with closed links to the IT department to improve the current blood requesting and collecting system. Phlebotomy and peripheral Cannulation on regular basis.Also link nurse for medicine management and Arrhythmia while carrying the role as a safety coordinator in my senior role.Other roles include appraisals, audits and getting involved in teaching sessions. The clinic includes tilt-tests, carotid sinus massage and supporting patient with vasovagal syncope, postural tachycardia syndrome (POTS), carotid sinus sensitivity, orthostatic hypotension and syncope caused by other orthostatic intolerance syndromes. Dictating tilt test reports and communicating with the multidisciplinary team to organise investigations for our patients is also part of my role. The syncope service is led by the electrophysiologist Dr. Tushar Salukhe and the tilt tests are led by clinic nurse specialists like my colleague and me. The clinic has given me so far already the opportunity to expand my knowledge and understand of the syncope service connected to the arrhythmia service while being able to work autonomously as a nurse specialist.
