Consulting side gig: I managed a pilot business development study with the purpose to guide a multi-billon enterprise on their market entry into the Swedish train industry.

In 2013 I co-founded Kvadrat, an online real estate agency operating the Swedish market. At most we have been 10 people working with Kvadrat (employees and freelancers), and my role has been to lead this diverse team through challenges and opportunities, keep track of our economic performance and formulate strategies for our endeavors. Being an entrepreneur through our phase of growth has been extremely stimulating and educational.

After finishing my master thesis I decided to accept a scholarship from Söderberg & Partner to further investigate the field of Lean Production and IT. I was lucky to take part in a team of 5 hardworking and curious researchers - among them some of the leading academics at the SSE. I also arranged and participated in a field study trip in Japan where we identified contradictions and synergies in Lean production and IT at 5 organizations. Our aspiration as a team was to improve and support the existing research on the subject, which required loads of thorough analysis and complex organizational insight. In hindsight I am happy to see that taking part in the project has turned out extremely inspiring and rewarding. Having studied 15+ Lean organizations in Sweden and Japan, representatives have been tapping our insights for best practice, and I was accepted to publish and present the research at the Operations Management conference EurOma in Dublin 2013.

During my second semester of the Master program at SSE I combined full-time studies with a business development internship at Tooltech, an IT-company in India. This gave me valuable insights to a very different national, business and company culture. It also forced me to become a time management ninja. My international confidence got strengthened, but I also acquired a deep respect and an appeal to the differences among us. My work at Tooltech involved campaign development, social media project, B2B sales, recruiting.

Among other part-time jobs during my Bachelor program studies, I worked as a bank associate at Nordea Bank. I gained valuable insights into the banking industry and it improved my analytical skills.My work at Nordea involved bank advising, account management etc. I also took part in a lean production project for process improvements.

During my last year of the Bachelor's program at SSE I combined my full-time studies with a 1-year internship at TG Consulting. This required time management and improved my diligence. My driving force has proven strong and the internship increased my interest in the strategic part of management consulting and enabled me to develop a range of skills. For instance, efficiency and analytical precision was needed in projects of profitability improvement, and creativity when we developed a new concept for a product.My work at TG Consulting involved project management, product concept strategy, real estate service differentiation and profitability analysis. It developed my analytical and project management skills.

Before starting my studies at SSE I worked as a market developer at VK System. I travelled around the Nordics and met with representatives from hundreds of companies. This gave me valuable practice in sales and in the creation of partnerships. My work generated millions of SEK in new business. I also worked with logistics management and other administrative tasks.My work at VK System involved B2B sales in Sweden and travelling market development in the Nordics. Also logistics management and market research.

Working as a call-center sales representative I learned the hard way what sales can be about. I sold razors to the Swedish market and made fairly good money. Most importantly I did massiv amounts of cold-calling, something I feel I still benefit from today in relation to new acquaintances.

Just after finishing high school I had a summer internship, working as an accounting assistant at Atlas Copco. It gave me a deeper understanding of accounting, particularly towards foreign companies, and practice in SAP.My work at Atlas Copco involved responsible for accounting and administration. It demanded and developed my analytical skills.
