My assignment in the group is to plan, implement and monitor projects and activities, educate specific groups of individuals from an energy and climate perspective, advice the citizens in energy and climate issues, communicate how to reduce the impact on our environment in different media channels. As energy and climate advisor the main task was to increase awareness about energy efficiency, energy use and climate impact by individuals, companies and organizations in Boxholm, Vadstena and Ödeshögs municipalitys. The work involved besides energy and climate counseling also planning, implementation and monitoring of various types of outreaching activities. The activities in includes for instance to give lectures, do seminars, promotions, inform the crowd at fairs and markets. The work… Show more As energy and climate advisor the main task was to increase awareness about energy efficiency, energy use and climate impact by individuals, companies and organizations in Boxholm, Vadstena and Ödeshögs municipalitys. The work involved besides energy and climate counseling also planning, implementation and monitoring of various types of outreaching activities. The activities in includes for instance to give lectures, do seminars, promotions, inform the crowd at fairs and markets. The work required a continuous monitoring the market to gain access to updated and new information in the branch. To monitor updates and changes in legislation, grants, energy efficient systems and products, energy efficient buildings, etc. was very necessary to keep a good quality and to be up to date in the field. During the two last years of employment I was responsible for a political motivated assignment that involved the establishment of an energy strategy.
