Dedicated medical researcher commited to advancing knowledge of biology and disease, with the ultimate goal of identifying novel therapeutic approaches. From my background diabetes research using animal models and omics based approaches, I have focused on identifying the role of cell-fate decisions, cellular stress and proliferation during diabetes development. This experience has provided me with excellent skills in data analysis, and experience distilling and communicating complex information to stakeholders. Furthermore project management, organisationa and structured work, has been important components in succeeding with research. In addition to scientific expertise, my award winning skill in public speaking has helped foster collaborations and knowledge exchange, benefiting research progress.I am driven by curiosity to explore new frontiers and solve problems in research, with the goal of creating meaningful impact in medical research.
