I am a Chartered Physiotherapist and Kinesiotherapy specialist with extensive experience in private practice and elite sport. I have over a decade of experience working with professional athletes including track athletes, basketball players and the Olympic Rhythmic Gymnastics Ensemble. I am is particularly proud of my work with the The Hellenic Athletics Federation (SEGAS) and the Greek National Athletics Elite Marathon Team. I have developed expert sports injury rehabilitation skills alongside a wide range of treatment modalities. Outside of elite sports, I also have experience in post-operative rehabilitation, musculoskeletal disorders and elderly rehabilitation. I completed my undergraduate training at Queen Margaret University, followed by a masters degree in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation in 2022 by Oxford BROOKES University.

I am an experienced, self-employed Physiotherapist and Kinesiotherapy specialist who operates a private practice and provides the full spectrum of therapeutic and rehabilitation services to hospital patients, outpatients and sportsmen and -women of all ages. Through personal recommendations and doctors’ referrals, I support clients with sports injuries, musculoskeletal, cardio-respiratory and neurological conditions. I have advanced competencies in supporting athletes of all ages and abilities to perform at their best by identifying and treating sports injuries and helping them to achieve the performance objectives imbedded in the development plans of individual athletes and teams.

This was a weekend job during COVID-19 Pandemic. I worked as an autonomous practitioner in providing neuro-musculoskeletal physiotherapy assessments, treatments, and report to general adult population  mainly geriatric with multimorbidity’s. The weekend job was more complex than any week day job due to the fact there was no direct support from the team and this complexity required multiple skills through practising in different environments and situation.

Contracted as a head physiotherapist by a private yachting company to provide physiotherapy treatments, as well as massage and treatments for sport injuries to organisation's 40 guests; served as manager of the Spa and Sports Center.

Productively employed by this private centre; managed a caseload of clients of all ages and provided pre- and post-orthopedic rehabilitation, especially for athletic injuries, assessment of foot scanning and gait analysis, and the provision of precise orthotics, tailor-made for feet.

I provide physiotherapy and kinesio-therapy expertise at sports facilities of the HAAA, including national athletic teams, treated at the Sports Medicine department, Medical Center.Focusing on the specific physical performance objectives which form part of the development plans for individual athletes, I ensure these objectives are achieved.I also utilise my expertise to achieve objectives, as well as the design, implementation and monitoring of high-level physical development, preparation and recovery programmes, injury prevention, management and rehabilitation. At the same time I provide First Aid services for all Championship participants, as well as pre- and post-event physiotherapy treatment for the elite athletes of the Championship.Providing medical support services before and after marathons to all athletes taking part in marathons organised by the HAAA, including the Athens Classic Marathon, First International Half Marathon, the Acropolis Half Marathon and the Athens Run, annually from 2010 until 2015.Contracted by the HAAA, Greece’s governing body for amateur sport as physiotherapist for the national Athletic team to manage and support throwing sports athletes of the national Track and Field teams of Greece and Cyprus. These athletes take part in disciplines such as shot-put, discus and hammer throw.Accompanied the athletes to Faro, Portugal where they prepared for the Olympic Games that took place in later in 2016.

I am tasked to work with elite athletes and basketball players, focusing on sports rehabilitation. I design, develop and tailor individual rehabilitation programmes for athletes/clients, in consultation with personal trainers, dieticians and the personal needs and goals of the relevant athletes.I also utilise state-of-the-art techniques and modalities for the best outcome during the practical implementation of programmes for elite-level athletes.

In this role, I worked with a Women’s Volleyball Team to ensure that specifically defined physical performance objectives, which formed part of the athletes’ individual development plans, were achieved.I achieved the objectives through the design, implementation and monitoring of high-level physical development, preparation and recovery programmes, as well as injury prevention, management and rehabilitation

I was employed by the Health Services Department and tasked with the management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal issues, affecting horse jockeys, and their rehabilitation.Working in close cooperation with various health professionals, I assessed different situations, determined the nature and severity of problems, as well as the best and most effective course of treatment, in collaboration with experts in the field. The position required excellent time management competencies to adjust to the rigorous schedules of the jockeys.

Participated at the preparation of the Ensemble Olympic Team for the Olympic Games of 2012 in London. Responsible for the rehabilitation of the athletes and their best performance for the Olympic Games.

I took responsibility for kinesio-therapy, therapeutic and athletic massages at the Spa.

I worked in the Broadcasting Department and took responsibility for local area networks and technical support to end-users.
