About Andreas Giraud
Graduated from a lab technician diploma in Biotechnology, I chose to pursue a university course to deepen my theoretical knowledge in biology. After a Master degree in Development and Control of Health Products, I began my professional career with a doctorate. My PhD project was to develop a cell-based therapy of abdominal aortic aneurysm using gingival fibroblasts in mice. Then, I was recruited as an engineer at EFS Atlantic Bio GMP to develop and validate analytical methods for the quality control of advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMP). Since February 2019, I have been the deputy quality control manager of conventional cell therapy laboratory and I have led methods development for ATMP activity. My current position requires expertise in cell analysis methods, particularly by flow cytometry, and also a deep knowledge of the regulatory requirements governing these activities.
