I helped set up the Dokar Coachmen Union (Salatiga), the Alliance of Independent Journalists (Jakarta), Institute for the Studies on Free Flow of Information (Jakarta), Pantau Foundation (Jakarta) and Suara Papua (Jayapura). In 1999-2000, I was a Nieman Fellow on Journalism at Harvard University. I am a member of the International Consortium for Investigative Journalists (Washington DC).
