I have a strong passion for programming, software craftsmanship and for solving problems through code. I aim for building high quality, reliable and working solutions. I like to approach problems in a pragmatic fashion, and like exploring and investigating to get a clear picture of what needs to be done. My communication skills are very good and are a great tool for getting to know the domain I am working in. I think that I am really good at getting the job done.My main goal is to continue to work with software development and design and evolve as a software developer/designer. I want to work on interesting and challenging projects where my skills will make a difference. I also want to share my knowledge to less experienced developers. I constantly seek to improve myself by learning new technologies and techniques, but also to refine my already acquired skills. My aim is to deliver code that does what it should, is easy to understand, easy to work with and easy to test.I apply both the object-oriented but also the function approach when writing code. I really like working with immutability in mind. It is much easier to avoid bugs that way.Lately I have been working a lot with building software based testing systems targeting vehicle diagnostic software. All from small unit tests in code to end-end simulation tests.I have experience in different domains including banking, vehicle diagnostics (current), retail and dvd rental services.
