I am currently managing a major component in a prestigious aircraft hydrogen project.

Instantanously I said 'YES, of course!' when I was asked to switch from the vaccination area to a start-from-scretch home for Ukraine refugees. The work is project management at its best combined with tough physical workout (equipping empty houses with all existantial goods and taking care for the refugees needs).This job is a heart thing.

I have decided to support with all my strength the outstanding work of the vaccination team in Ingelheim/Rheinland-Pfalz in order to help overcoming the pandemic situation.

I was nominated to hold technical and disciplinary responsibility for the Control Panel/Switches Team. We do the inspiring devices, that drivers see, feel and touch when they operate their cars, like radio/ climate control (touch)panels, all types of switches and stalks, previously even instrument clusters. One impressive highlight certainly has been a business trip to Shanghai. Latest projects I have contributed to are the allnew Corsa and Mokka under PSA.

I took the lead responsibility for customer exciting HiFi sound systems and ANC (active noise cancellation), that included creation of specs, coordination of supplier nomination process, development and validation. All this in close collaboration with our global GM partners. Visits in the States (GM headquarter, suppliers and partizipation in Dave Clarks sound evaluation seminar) and frequent travel to Saab in Sweden have been valuable milestones in order to build up relationship for successful projects.

Changing to the Electric/Electronic department I worked as a project and release engineer for various components in the Infotainment area, so for radio heads, speakers, radio- and climate control panels. Besides adaptation of specs to match specific projects I was in charge of successfully implementing these specs to become a reliable part of stunning infotainment systems. Supplier bidding process, development and validation coordination were part of this globally aligned job.

As a project and release engineer in the Chassis department I have implemented the first Electronic Stability Program (ESP) to Opel's flagship Omega besides some ABS applications in small cars. Part of the job description were spec adjustment, coordination of supplier nomination process, development and validation.I could achieve great driving experience in test ride activities (Sweden ice, Nordschleife, Opel test tracks and more - pure fun to push the limits).
