I am deeply passionate about conservation and sustainable tourism, driven by a strong commitment to preserving our natural environment while promoting responsible travel practices. My interest in research spans several critical areas, including the biodiversity economy in selected landscapes in Namibia, and the intricate connections between ecosystem services and the livelihoods of local communities. Through my internships at Gobabeb Namib Research Institute and Kalahari Anib Gondwana Lodge, I have conducted significant research on topics such as wind-mediated seed dispersal and the distribution of nocturnal mammals. Additionally, I have contributed to long-term ecological monitoring projects and operational activities that support wildlife conservation and enhance the guest experience. I am dedicated to leveraging my knowledge and skills to advance initiatives that promote sustainable tourism and conservation.
