As a visionary leader and expert in the field of 5G / 6G mobile communications, I am at the forefront of driving cutting-edge innovations and transforming different industries, including the mobility / automotive and manufacturing sectors. I am currently spearheading the main strategic 6G activities of Bosch, a global leader in technology and engineering solutions, across our different business units. My role involves leading an interdisciplinary team of highly talented professionals, distributed across multiple sites, to tackle complex challenges in areas like integrated communication and sensing (ICAS), network-of-networks, private networks, Open RAN, digital twinning, and much more. In this respect, we take a holistic view of 6G, covering not just the technology aspects but also strategy and business model development, standardization and regulation, market analysis, and more.My passion for exploring the possibilities of 5G/6G and smart connectivity solutions in general has led me to become a frequent speaker at international conferences, symposia and similar events, sharing my insights and knowledge on the latest trends and developments in this field. At Bosch, I also hold the position of Chief Expert for Communication Technologies for the IoT, where I continually explore new horizons to create innovative solutions for a connected world.Beyond my role at Bosch, I have been serving as the General Chair of the 5G Alliance for Connected Industries and Automation (5G-ACIA) since its establishment in 2018. With nearly 100 member organizations from around the world, our mission is to drive and shape Industrial 5G (and its further evolution towards 6G), actively working together to push the boundaries of what's possible.Overall, my passion for exploring the possibilities of new technologies, like 5G/6G, and my ability to lead interdisciplinary teams to create innovative solutions have helped me create a name for myself in the world of technology and engineering. My holistic view of 6G, which goes beyond technology to encompass strategy, business model development, standardization, and regulation, has positioned me as a leader who can drive innovation and change across various industries.
