- Ship structural analysis on strength and fatigue of the hull. - Development of new internal software - streamlining work processes for efficiency gains. - Data analysis, combining large data sets (e.g. AIS) to create valuable insights. - In early 2017, was assigned as Ship Structures' "Digital Head" - aiming to realize digital gains through commercial projects.

Joined DNV GL Maritime Advisory as a Maritime Trainee. During the two-year programme, I rotated within the Advisory organization: - 15 months as an Engineer within Technical Advisory, doing structural and hydrodynamic analyses - including development of internal technical software. - 6 months as a Consultant within Performance Advisory. Among other things I worked with battery hybrid shipping and AIS data analysis. - 3 months as a Consultant in Maritime Advisory Dubai, on projects towards clients in the Gulf region.About Maritime Trainee:On behalf of the Norwegian maritime industry, the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association (Norges Rederiforbund) launched this management trainee program in August 2005. Since then, Maritime Trainee has involved close to 50 companies in the Norwegian maritime industry as a whole; shipowners, shipyards and maritime equipment companies, rig companies, classification companies, law firms, banks and shipbrokers, all of whom do business globally. Maritime Trainee seeks to give each trainee a basic understanding so that he/she becomes capable of mastering numerous functions within the maritime industry, already at an early stage of his/her career. The trainees hold a master's degree in economics, technology or (maritime) law, from universities in Norway and abroad.
