Based on BMW’s corporate vision to transform MINI from an automotive into an urban lifestyle brand, I was responsible for new business ventures at MINI. I set up and led an interdisciplinary team located in Munich, New York and Shanghai to launch new ventures - both physical and digital. In order to grow our reach into younger urban target groups as well as increase customer lifetime value, my team and I succesfully launched new premium services and products and connected them back to the brand’s ecosystem.

In my previous work as an innovation consultant in my own startup and at Diffferent Labs I realized that 90% of all innovation strategies don`t get executed for whatever reasons. After several years of supporting DAX companies to identify new innovation strategies and business opportunities I had the urge of putting all my energy into helping companies to walk the last mile and bring their concepts to life. I built a team of 12 people with different skillsets that was able to help our clients to execute their innovation strategies and turn business opportunities into real product/service offerings and new ventures. We helped to build new products, services and the necessary infrastrucutre for clients like Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Telekom, Mars and Deutsche Bahn.

Diffferent Labs was founded in 2012 as marketing innovation lab - a mix of consulting firm, think tank and ideation lab. As Senior Innovation Consultant I was running marketing innovation projects for our major clients like Audi, Porsche and Volkswagen while building the corporate structures and growing the team from three to ten employees. In April 2013 Diffferent Labs was taken over by diffferent strategy consultancy.

Kenset is a innovation consultancy, founded in 2010. The key challenge for successful innovations isn´t the thrilling idea but the transfer into existing structures/markets. Focussing on this transfer-process, we helped clients like Audi, Würth, Merck, GIZ and WWF to handle and implement different kinds of innovation projects.
