I'm a linguist and software developer with strong technical skills in both fields. I've worked extensively with machine learning infrastructure and data for speech synthesis, stepping up to support my many data scientist and linguist colleagues with software development expertise, and helping pure engineers understand the specific domain and needs of an NLP pipeline.I have a great interest in software architecture because I find that lack of overall planning and coordination is consistently the greatest source of future trouble, and with my feet planted firmly in both domain-specific knowledge and generalist computer science, I find myself in an excellent position to help my colleagues across the board in making our projects better.My university education gave me great breadth of knowledge over multiple fields, and my job experience has given me depth and experience to back it up.
