In this position, Andreas is responsible for all marketing activities of Siemens PLM Software in Germany. Leading the German field marketing (local demand creation, campaign execution, physical events, content and channel marketing), incl. digital marketing (www, inbound/outbound demand creation, social media) and telemarketing. With his broad industry and technology expertise during various assignments in Engineering and Simulation in Service, Pre Sales, Product Management, Product Marketing and Business Development, Andreas always enjoyed a lot working on the fascinating intersection of technology and communication.Andreas is holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he is based in Siemens Industry Software’s Frankfurt office in Germany.

2009 - 2012 Andreas Schäfer has been responsible for the region Germany, Austria and Switzerland (D/A/CH) as Director portfolio marketing NX. Prior to joining Siemens in 2007, Andreas worked in various roles as an application engineer in Engineering and Simulation, Pre Sales, Product Management and Business Development. As a member of a Center of Expertise he gathered a lot of experience and insight from many project implementations in several industries like Automotive OEM, Suppliers and Industrial Machinery. He always enjoyed a lot working on the fascinating intersection of technology and communication.
