About Andreas Schießl
Andreas Schießl, born 1967, got his engineering diploma degree from the University of Applied Sciences, Kempten and joined Alstom (former AEG Sachsenwerk) in 1994, where he worked in the area of medium-high voltage technology.In 1998 he began his career as mechanical design engineer for integrated transmission units at Siemens Automotive – now Continental Automotive GmbH – in Regensburg. There he was involved in several series projects including quotation, development and implementation.He moved 2003 into the Advanced Development Department where he is responsible as a senior project leader for powertrain systems topics.Within several European projects as well as research and development projects public funded by the German government, he is working integrated into international network in the area of Hybrid Electronic Vehicles, E/E-architecture, thermal issues, reliability and robustness topics, standardization with focus on future requirements.
