I am a current Senior at UW-Madison working towards the completion of a double major Bachelor of arts in Landscape and Urban Studies, and Sociology. As an avid city lover and environmental steward, by pursuing this education I am following my lifelong passion for learning about people, cities, architecture, the environment and their interconnectednessMy best skills are being a strong reader, writer and communicator which I have honed through past and current work in the customer service industry as a cashier, valet/bellman, server and lifeguard, as well as currently writing for the arts section of the Badger Herald newspaper.Long-term I would like to take what I have learned here at UW-Madison and throughout my upbringing in Wisconsin and travels to create more climate resilient and equitable communities that recognize humans, animals, and plants as one ecological system worth preserving, evolving and protecting.
