I am working as a fulltime (working contract) Mechanical Design Engineer and CNC 5-Axis operator in the woodworking industry, being responsible for the full lifecycle of a product – from design – final product.Activities:- Design of various customer wooden products on demand or from scratch (example: office furniture, designer pieces, wood houses, hotel including the interior wood furniture, various marketing products) using 3D CAD, example: AutoDesk Inventor and other nesting programs- Engraving on different materials (plexiglas, wood) using laser machines (lightburn software)- Client communication based on the prototype/ draft- Correction / adjustment of the client’s design and if necessary proposal of an enhanced prototype / draft version - CNC 5 axis configuration using Maestro/Maestro Plus on PanelMac SCM Morbidelli 2000 according to the particular measures/ dimensions of the project- Coordination of the team responsible for the cutting and preparation of the wood - Database management /archiving
