Started at grass root level in the mining industry more than 30 years ago and to date have over 25 years extensive experience in all underground construction disciplines such as mechanized tunneling in both, hard rock and soft ground, as well as conventional excavation methods for tunnels and large caverns.Hands-on knowledge of shaft raise boring and conventional shaft sinking. Besides many years in the execution and management of mid and large scale projects, I have gained vast experience as consultant and design coordinator for large infrastructure projects worldwide. My field of specialty has the recovery of Tunnel Boring Machines being trapped due to adverse geological conditions and the reactivation and optimization of mechanized and conventional tunnel drives. Since early 2018 I am back in the international mining industry with a strong focus on business development in Sub-Saharan Africa
