CURRICULUM VITAE:Andreas Wiegand, was born 1955 in Gießen. After attaining his Degree in Economics at Gießen (1982) he was employed until 1986 in Sales and Marketing at Lyssia GmbH (Wiesbaden). This was followed by several years at Fresenius AG (Oberursel) in the G.P. sector among other things as Marketing Sales Manager of Medical Information and the Customer Service Department. After 3 years at Rhône-Poulenc Rorer (Cologne) as Marketing Manager for the profit centre Gastroenterology and Head of the Business Unit Hormone and Bone Metabolism, Andreas Wiegand changed in 1997 as Marketing Director and later deputy Managing Director to Eisai GmbH (Frankfurt). Since 2002 he has held sole responsibility as Managing Director of Eisai GmbH. Between 2005 and 2009 he established the subsidiary in Austria for Eisai and the representative offices in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. From 2010 to 2011, in addition to Germany, Andreas Wiegand has also taken over responsibility, as Managing Director, for Switzerland and the above-mentioned countries. From April 2012 to February 2019 he worked in the D.A.CH-Region as General Manager Marketing and Sales for Mitsubishi-Tanabe Pharma. Since March 2019 Andreas retired and is working as a freelancer and consultant.
