When at the end of 2006 the spin-off company Vela Solaris AG (now in Winterthur, Switzerland) was founded, I was one of the company’s first shareholders. As International Sales Manager I have been responsible for developing new markets in the Mediterranean countries, Latin America and China.Furthermore I have been teaching for more than 20 years and have got extensive experience in know-how transfer in different languages, cultures and countries, implementing innovative teaching methods. I have been teaching more than 100 Polysun courses in 4 languages (English, German, Italian, Spanish) in more than a dozen countries (among them Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, United Kingdom, Egypt, China). I am currently coordinating a Swiss-Chinese training program called “RETAC” (Renewable Energy Training and Certificate), co-funded by the Swiss agency REPIC (Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency, Promotion in International Cooperation). Polysun is an innovative tool used to design and optimize decentralised energy systems including solar thermal, photovoltaic, heat pump and geothermal components. Originally created in 1992 at the Institut für Solartechnik SPF (Institute for Solar Technology), part of the Hochschule für Technik (Technical University) in Rapperswil (Switzerland), the software has been continuously setting new and higher industry standards ever since. Solid scientific foundations and its user-friendliness have made Polysun the preferred software solution for thousands of designers, architects and installers.
