Sofina Foods representative in Brazil and responsible for purchasing raw material for further processing or to be traded in Canadian market, coordinating all the process from buying the product up to the delivery to our plant or final customer.Key Accountabilities: • Build up and maintain good relationship with Brazilian poultry producers and buy the products required by Sofina Foods, negotiating prices, timelines and contract conditions. Responsible for a volume of aprox. 150 – 250 tons of frozen meat shipped into Canada• Receive and check all commercial, sannitary and shipping paperwork for loads coming from Brazil and Thailand and work with brokers in Canada for customs clearance and quota application• Gather all the necessary logistics information from Shipping Companies and suppliers in order to keep track of all the loads and keep tracking tools and systems up to date and ensure the most accurate information for our company and customers• Coordinate product deliveries in Canada with our carriers and coldstores• Work with customer service to provide product, price, locations and delivery terms input, making sure our customers receive the product as requested• Work with production planning team to ensure accurate supply• Maintain and update products reports with logistics, inventory, price, quota, exchange rate, storage and transportation cost information for control and strategic purposes• Manage inventory reports from coldstores and monitor stock levels and lot traceability within the company’s warehouses network• Keep track and renew all CFIA – Canadian Food Inspection Agency – permits for import• Deal with Quality Assurance issues and commercial claims.• Perform audits in Brazilian Poultry Plants and gather all the documents required for Sofina QA team and CFIA• Quota sales and quota permit applications
