Teaches “Introduction to Social Enterprise” to explore the impact that businesses can create to drive social equity and access to opportunity. This class is based on a foundation of Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design practices in combination with national best practices. The course is designed to support the creation of a social enterprise by students capitalizing on an idea to change the world. Teaches "Experiential Social Enterprise" that guides teams of graduating students in collaboration with existing social enterprises to develop recommendations for their continued success. Together, we explore the target customer, identifying Excited to share my experience, vision, and philosophy for applying modern business models to address and improve access to employment, services, and other needs for underserved and low-income households.Created an elective "Equity by Design" to explore and develop the skills for the modern social entrepreneur. This elective cultivates the skills and abilities of each student to be a transformational social entrepreneur. Together, we will explore elements of human-centered design, challenge societal assumptions, navigate bias, and discuss the origins of these issues. As social entrepreneurs, we desire to create a world that is diverse, inclusive, and accessible. We seek to advance humanity by overcoming our past. At the root of this motivation lies the exploration of how to create a business venture that designs transformative access to opportunity by providing employment, new skills, or access to needed services. This class is designed to cultivate the students abilities to create transformative social enterprises.

Developed a cross-sector strategy implementation for their Internet-of-Things technology platform. Fall 2016German Marshall Fund's BUILD Conference - speaker at the transatlantic urban innovators conference held in Bilbao, Spain in 2014 and 2015 and in Detroit, Michigan in 2017. We will focus on idea generation, opportunity identification, and evaluation of the venture creation process. Led internationally competitive application process and managed the partnership bringing together over 100 community leaders across multiple sectors to devise strategies to drive economic development in depressed neighborhoods. Code for America 2015 partner city. Led nationally competitive application process to win awarded partnership. Coordinated community fundraising in support of project and was the project champion throughout the 12-month project. Supported the design thinking process to develop an application to improve how uninsured residents can better access and utilize healthcare services. Launched the City of Richmond's Open Data Portal, the first in the State of Virginia. Won 2015 COVITS Award for "Most Innovative Use of Open Data"Founding partner for "Code for RVA" Brigade of community hackers, coders, and designers to build and implement civic technology applications and create data visualizations. RichmondWorks is the performance management department for the City of Richmond. I assist in the development of a performance mindset throughout the departments of the city, by focusing on the services provided to the citizens. RichmondWorks focuses on: work process improvement, performance measurements, technology upgrades and improvements, reporting and increasing data analysis. The main focal points are to improve customer service while reducing costs.

Provided analytical and planning support for Firedog Home Installation and National Service Repair. Performed planning and variance analysis of operations. Assisted in the development and support of strategic decisions for these services.

Worked in a branch to personally establish and build a client base through excellent customer service and aligning of financial products. Actively worked with the bank team to achieve financial center goals. Had perfect customer service scores for the month of July 2006. As well as perfect Mystery Shop scores for July, August, and September 2006.
